I've been on LJ for over a year now. I closed down my old journal and this is my new one. I'm very particular about who I add.

What I'm looking for:

1. To hear about people, their thoughts, their day. Not just a bunch of quizzes or recaps of their favorite tv shows.

2. People who post and comment at least once in a while. I don't expect you to comment on every entry, or post something on your journal everyday. Just let me know you're around once in a while.

3. I love people who are sarcastic, funny, weird, but that's not a requirement. As long as you're real, that's fine with me.

4. People who have at least some things in common with me.

What I'm NOT looking for:

1. Drama queens, constant whiners and people who do nothing to change their problems.

2. Animal haters. I have 5 cats, but I love all animals. Jokes about hurting them are not funny to me.

3. People who are looking to bulk up their friends list.

If you wish to add me as a friend, please let me know why you added me or why you want to be added. It's frustrating when people just say "added!"

If I add you, and later I feel we aren't really compatible, I will be honest cut you as a friend. All it means is that I feel we weren't compatible or you fit one of the 3 "What I'm not looking for" stated above.

I actually think at one time you were on my old journal...can't remember or not. If you were, you may recognize who/what I'm writing about.

I'd tell you what my old one was, but I don't really want people to know it. Not that I was like super evil woman or anything. I just want to remain anonymous because of some friends that are no longer friends.

I didn't used to be this bitchy about who I add, but after having some major assholes friend me, I decided it was time to lay down some rules.

I have a really low tolerance for assholes and drama queens. This entry usually scares them off. heh. :)

I cut you for a couple reasons.

One was simply because I wasn't reading your journal that much or commenting. I hate doing that to people.

The other reason was because of the type of journal you have. Your LJ is a photo-journal, and although I like looking at your pics, I like having people on my friends list that talk about their day, their job, the people in their lives...etc.

I don't feel like I've gotten to know very much about you. I know some, but I don't feel like you divulge very much. I never hear about your friends, family, and stuff like that; Which is fine. You don't have to be that open. It's your dang journal.

I just prefer the tyep of journals where I get to know the person.

My life is not really that exciting right now in ways that would make thrilling reading. But, if you can be patient I do write about certain aspects of my life now and then. And besides what is there to know about me that you already do not know ? It is because you do not wanna send me a batch of Cannolis isn't it ? Came on admit it ! haha. And also, it is not fair. I never did see any photos of you guys playing Twister !!! ;)

I found your journal via an

addme25_and_up, and after reading a few of your public entries (the feminism rant and the "favorites" ones were the two that really resonated with me), I thought I might enjoy reading more of your journal and hopefully, vice versa. My journal's still fairly new and there aren't too many entries, so I thought I should let you know I'm not always as rageful as the few entries might lead you to believe. I am (brutally) honest, and I do write in part to work out what's swimming around in my head, so you would certainly see that process reflected in my entries.
